…started playing the bass in 1988 and his first major influence was Jack Bruce. Moving from blues to jazz Andy was influenced by players such as Jaco Pastorius and this love of jazz led him to study at the Royal Academy of Music, graduating in 1997.
His stunning bass technique and sublime groove is making him the first call for visiting U.S. artists such as Ben E. King, Rodriguez, The Emotions, Leon Ware. He has also featured on recording sessions with Micheal Kamen, Sir George Martin and Alfie Boe.
When touring commitments prevent Andy being available Steven Oates or John Currie take over bass duties. Both are amazing players who have played with Big Boy Bloater, The Drifters, plus many more.
